The builders of the “Vostochny” space base have started the construction of a store complex for super-heavy booster rocket propellant components.
As the Specstroy press service reported to Construction.ru, wood removal and stump extraction has been completed on the land on which the object is to be built, and geodetic work has been carried out. More than 50 units of equipment are stripping topsoil and excavating pits and trenches. 126 builders are now at work there.
The store complex for super-heavy booster rocket propellant components is a number of buildings on an area of 42 hectares 10 km from the space base technical site. About 39 tons of oxidizers, 100-2000 liters of transport-fuelling containers and up to 84 tons of hydrogen peroxide are located there. A physical and chemical laboratories complex, a rocket propellant components transporting vehicles site, an energy supply and fire safety objects will be constructed nearby. The launching of objects will have been fully commissioned by this December.
