LLC Special Construction Agency (Spetsstroy) will improve Smolenskaya, Rostovskaya and Savvinskaya embankments located in the center of Moscow for more than 1 billion rubles (approximately $18 million), according to documentation published on the website of public procurement.

As it follows from a contract, the development is planned to be completed until the end of 2017.

The technical design specification includes the surfacing of sidewalks with granite tiles, establishment of gutters, planting trees and bushes, installation of 15 benches and about 200 granite litter bins, development of backyards and adjacent bystreets, repair of the buildings’ facades.

As a reference, the Moscow authorities are implementing a large-scale project of the city improvement named “My Streat,” which initially envisaged the reconstruction of almost all (some 3,500) streets of Moscow.
