The Alley of Russian rulers with 33 bronze busts was opened on Friday on Petroverigsky by-street in Moscow. The monuments were made by president of the Russian Academy of Arts, Zurab Tsereteli.

The official ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky and the Education Minister Olga Vasilyeva. The alley was created by the Russian Military-Historical Society in the park of the Military Uniforms Museum.

“For the first time in history, we will be able to see all rulers of the country, from Prince Rurik to the Prime Minister of the Interim Government, to read when they lived. We do not interrupt this historical continuity, our history is one and indivisible. The remaining busts are the being currently manufactured and soon we will open them as well,” Vladimir Medinsky noted.

As it became known, soon the exposition will be replenished with 8 new busts.
