Gazprom Neft, a Russian oil company, has concluded with American oil services company Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co. a memorandum on a long-term partnership in the implementation of oil and gas projects in Russia, the Russian company says on Tuesday.
In accordance with the memorandum, the parties agreed to start negotiations on the American company’s providing oilfield services in the license areas of Gazprom Neft, including those in the field of high-tech drilling. In addition, within the partnership, a scientific cooperation in the field of oil services is planned to be established, as well as mutual training programs for staff will be arranged.
“Through collaboration with technology leaders possessing the competencies necessary for optimal solutions to complex production problems, our company will continue to be involved in the development of new deposits that had not been previously considered promising,” the first Deputy General Director of Gazprom Neft Vadim Yakovlev said.
