New toll section of the 20 km long road, which connects the federal motorways of “Don” and “Crimea” will appear in the Tula region, Russia, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Tula region – Minister of Economic Development, Grigory Lavrukhin, told reporters on Thursday.
According to him, a project for Tula – Novomoskovsk road is preliminary estimated at 20 billion rubles ($351 million). The calculations have been made by experts with the consideration of the construction costs of roads in the same category located in other regions of Central Russia.
Mr. Lavrukhin has noted that the final timing of construction has not been determined yet.
“We need to conduct a feasibility study, to elaborate a territorial planning document. We expect to complete this work by the end of 2018,” the Minister added.
