In spring of 2018, the Chinese company Anhui Conch Cement plans to begin construction of a large cement plant in the Ulyanovsk region, Russia, the press office of the region’s Russian Development Corporation said with a reference to the director Sergey Vasin.
“At the moment, a legal entity has been established and the first staff is recruited that to coordinate all activities carried out under the project. The design work has begun. In spring of the next year, the company plans to start construction”, Mr. Vasin noted.
The enterprise is scheduled to be put in operation in late 2020 – early 2021, the Corporation’s press office specified.
“This will be one of the largest cement plants in Russia, with the capacity amounting to about 5,000 tons of high quality cement per day,” he added.
